About Minadora Sernaite
Minadora Sernaite started playing violin when she was five. In 2012 he graduated from the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, prof. U. Jagėlaitė's Violin Class. In 2018, she completed her master's studies in the violin class of doc. dr. R. Lipinaitytė at Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy (LMTA).
Minadora is a laureate and diplomant of international and national competitions:
Winner of the 16th Republican B. Dvarionas Competition 2010, 3rd prize winner of the R. Katilius National String Competition (2010).
International Glazunov International String Competition in Paris (France) - Grand Prix (2010),
Special Prize at the 17th International E. Koka International Violin Competition in Chisinau (Moldova), Diploma (2013), 2nd prize (2012, 2013, 2014, 2016) at the International Remember Enescu Violin Competition in Sinaia (Romania) and 1rd prize in 2015.
She is also a participant of the International Dombrovskis International String Competition (Riga, 2011) and the 4th International J. Heifetz Violin Competition (Vilnius, 2013).
The violinist trained in masterclasses with professors M. Gaisler, P. Munteanu, P. Rozcek, B. Garlitski, A. Barkhovski, P. Lunberg, M. Ghoerner, P. Schuhmayer, J. Meissl,
A. Kouyoumdjian, P. Juedt, D. Ligeti, A. Barkhovski, and others.
In 2011 and 2016, she was awarded a testimonial letter from President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė.
In 2015 Minadora played with the LMTA Symphony Orchestra, in 2017 with the Vilnius City St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, in 2018 with Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra.
Minadora was a member of the Festivo String Quartet, participated in the ECMA Professor Session Masterclasses in 2015 and performed in Riga. In the same year, she participated in the XI International M.K. Oginsky Competition in Smorgon (Belarus), where she won the 2nd prize. In 2016, the quartet participated in the ECMA session in Vilnius and won the 3rd prize in the Lithuanian Chamber Music Ensemble Competition for the 75th Anniversary of the Lithuanian Composers' Union. Attended ECMA session in 2017 and performed in The Hague, The Netherlands
The violinist also takes part in orchestral activities. In 2012, Minadora participated in the Animato Philarmonie Foundation Youth Orchestra project, as an orchestra artist, she participated in the Fjord Cadenza Festival in Alesund (Norway, 2013). Christopher Chamber Orchestra, participated in EUYO (European Union Youth Symphony Orchestra) Summer Tour 2016 (conducted by Bernard Haitink, Vasily Petrenko, Paul Watkins, Peter Stark), 2017 Summer Tour (conducted by V. Petrenko), and 2018 Summer Tour (conducted by Gianandrea) Noseda, Manfred Honeck). The violinist has performed in major European venues such as the Berlin Concert Hall, the Albert Hall in London (BBC Proms Festival), the Vienna Concert Hall, the Rudolfinum in Prague and others. Currently, she is an artist of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater Orchestra.
As a chamber musician, nowadays Minadora is a member of Forza Trio.
