About Duo Kazonaitė-Motiečius
Dovilė Kazonaitė and Tadas Motiečius duo was united by the love for Lithuanian music. Both collaborators wanted to revive F. Bajoras "The Suite of Tales", which was well-known but somewhat forgotten by the performers. The young soloists created a mono-performance mystery entitled "The Earth Has Asked People to Die", which was broadcasted via Lithuanian Radio and Television and stored in archives. After receiving interest from professionals and audiences, the duo has been around for several years. This year, the duo was invited to the Presidency to open the Lithuanian National Awards for Culture with their musical performance. Also, Tadas and Dovilė had the honor of playing St. At the Christopher Awards.
The repertoire contains a number of excellent Lithuanian works, as well as a part of French music. The duo does not shy away from experimenting with a wide range of genres ranging from contemporary compositions to opera arias.
