About Zhanna Miniotas
Zhanna Miniotas (lithuan. Žana Miniotaitė) was born in Petrozavodsk in the family of musicians. She started music violin and piano studies under the guidance of her mother at the age of 2 and a year later she played her first concerts. She began cello studies at the age of ten. From 2005 to 2009, Zhanna studied at the Academic Music College of Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in the class of O. Galochkina, and in 2017 she graduated from Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire where she studied in the class of Boris Andrianov.
Zhanna participates as a soloist in music festivals, held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Vilnius; plays solo concerts in the cities of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and European countries. Zhanna is a laureate and winner of international competitions, as well as the competition for chamber ensembles named after Maria Yudina in St. Petersburg (2012) and the International music competition"Muzika be sienų" in Druskininkai. Zhanna also took part in masterclasses of renowned musicians: D. Geringas, J. Solima, A. Rudin, N. Shakhovskaya, M. Leskovar, U. Clerici, A. Bonduryansky, D. Shapovalov, E. Testelets, Nicolas Jones, Christian Frattima, Laszlo Feño, Xavier Phillips and others and always the quality of her interpretation was highlighted.
Zhanna is a member of Forza Trio.
